love gbk burgers and amazing shakes too, customer service has always been good too (cribbs), only reason for my 2 stars is you pay over a tenner for a burger and then you have to pay an extra £4! for a tiny pot of chips!! wtfreckle gourmet burger man, that takes the peas a bit doesn't it.

Disgraceful place and even more disgraceful management

I ordered burger and fries and when it arrived the fries were RAW. They just tasted of raw potato and were very firm. The burger which I ordered as medium rare was snotty inside and the bottom burger bun was mostly saturated in blood.
I called gourmet and they apologised and told me to email pictures to their manager. So I did and was even more disgusted by the reply I got.
She treats me like an imbecile by claiming the burger is simply medium rare and medium rare will drip blood. I'm not an idiot. I order medium rare cos clearly that's how I like it. But it was unsafe to eat due to being snotty inside and quite frankly if they send raw fries and can't even cook them right I am certainly not going to eat that burger and risk getting extremely ill. I'm still waiting on any sort of reply from just eat who I ordered through. But I will be contacting the FSA about this. I am severely disabled and went hungry that night and have not been given a refund.
I would have been a regular customer but after such a disgraceful disgusting reply from management I will never order from this place again.

The Classic Beef, according to the menu, includes house mayo, relish and salad.
We were served the burger, small amount of relish, bun, no mayo and the salad comprised of one small piece of lettuce in the bun.
Message to the directors: you need to review quality, service and prices.

Great Burgers from the real GBK
It seems that the restaurant Gourmet Burger is not from the same chain as Gourmet Burger Kitchen. I made a mistake for which I apologise.
There is NOTHING WRONG WITH GBK
I have taken Deliveroo to task about it as it is easy to make a mistake and think that you are ordering from the wonderful GBK when in fact it is an imposter who is sub-contracting out to another company.
Bad experience put right by EXCELLENT customer service!
Had a bad experience at the Brindley Place outlet - my complaint was picked up by the Assistant Manager at Resorts World Birmingham - she was phenomenal! Took ownership of the issue and got it resolved quickly and effectively and to my satisfaction. One thing to add, however, GBK need to be careful who and when they turn away customers from their outlets - any customer is a valuable customer spending money which is what is needed to keep the outlets open and the company not going under.

I’m really not happy at all to be honest.
Ordered from Uber eats and left a note for the restaurant asking for only lettuce in the burger, but instead it came with everything else inside - which isn’t great for a fussy eater. The fries were dry and cold, and the order was handed to me when I asked for contact free delivery. So pretty bad all in all.

It was delivered an hour later. Cold and soggy and inedible.
GBK must assume responsibility for delivery as well, after all I paid good money for a burger that ended in the bin.

Avoid GBK Lordship Lane at all costs
Ordered three things via Deliveroo from Lordship Lane GBK but only one thing was delivered. Extremely rude woman on the phone was totally unsympathetic and blamed this entirely on Deliveroo as though GBK doesn’t have a professional relationship with Deliveroo.
